Custom Design Agreement
CUSTOM DESIGN AGREEMENT
Effective Date: July 23, 2026
Shop Name: ShopStuffs LLC
This Custom Design Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the terms and conditions for custom design services provided by ShopStuffs LLC (“Designer”) to the client (“Client”).
By booking a Custom Design Consultation & Proposal Service or approving custom design work, Client acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined below.
1. Custom Design Services
ShopStuffs LLC provides custom design services, including but not limited to:
Wedding invitations and stationery suites
Save the dates
RSVP cards and details cards
Custom paper goods
Personalized gifts
Other custom-designed products
Custom design services may include:
Design consultation
Review of event details and preferences
Design research and recommendations
Creation of initial concepts
Digital proofs for review
Final production preparation
The scope of services will be determined based on the project details and personalized proposal provided to the Client.
2. Consultation & Design Fee
A non-refundable Design Consultation & Proposal Fee is required before custom design services begin.
This fee compensates ShopStuffs LLC for professional time, consultation, preparation, research, creative direction, and design services provided.
The consultation fee is non-refundable regardless of whether the Client chooses to proceed with production.
The consultation fee does not guarantee a final order and does not serve as a production deposit unless otherwise stated in writing.
3. Client Responsibilities
The Client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information necessary to complete the project.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Names
Dates
Times
Locations
Addresses
Wedding website URLs
Guest information
Personalization details
Preferred wording and formatting
Any required event information
ShopStuffs LLC is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the Client.
4. Design Process & Proofs
After consultation and receipt of required information, ShopStuffs LLC will create design concepts based on the Client’s preferences and project requirements.
Unless otherwise stated, custom design services include up to two (2) initial digital proofs.
Proofs are provided for Client review and approval.
Additional concepts, redesigns, or revisions beyond the included scope may require additional design fees.
5. Revisions & Changes
Client feedback should be provided clearly and within a reasonable timeframe.
Changes requested after approval of a proof, including changes to wording, layout, colors, designs, or product selections, may require additional fees.
Major design changes or requests outside the original project scope may be considered a new design project.
6. Proof Approval
Client is responsible for carefully reviewing all proofs before providing approval.
Approval confirms that the Client has reviewed and accepted:
Spelling
Grammar
Names
Dates
Times
Addresses
URLs
QR codes
Layout
Design selections
Quantities
Product details
Once a proof has been approved, ShopStuffs LLC is not responsible for customer-approved errors.
Any reprints or corrections caused by Client-approved errors will require a new order and additional payment.
7. Payment & Production
Once the Client approves the final design:
A final production invoice will be provided.
Full payment is required before materials are ordered, printing begins, or production starts.
Production timelines begin after final approval and payment have been received.
ShopStuffs LLC does not begin production based solely on verbal approval or consultation completion.
8. Cancellation Policy
Because custom design services involve reserved time, preparation, and creative work, Design Consultation & Proposal Fees are non-refundable.
Custom orders cannot be canceled once production begins.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Materials purchased
Printing completed
Cutting or assembly started
Final proofs approved
Production preparation completed
9. Design Ownership & Intellectual Property
All original designs, artwork, layouts, creative concepts, photographs, and design elements created by ShopStuffs LLC remain the intellectual property of ShopStuffs LLC unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Client receives permission to use the final purchased product for its intended personal event purpose only.
Client may not:
Copy or reproduce ShopStuffs LLC designs
Sell or distribute designs
Modify designs for commercial use
Claim ShopStuffs LLC designs as their own
10. Colors, Materials & Handmade Variations
ShopStuffs LLC creates handcrafted and made-to-order products.
Client acknowledges that slight variations may occur due to:
Paper texture and stock
Printing processes
Monitor and screen differences
Lighting conditions
Handmade assembly
Ribbon, embellishment, and material variations
These variations are not considered defects.
11. Timeline & Delays
Estimated completion dates are provided based on project details, availability, approval timelines, and production requirements.
ShopStuffs LLC is not responsible for delays caused by:
Late Client responses
Missing information
Delayed approvals
Shipping carrier delays
Supplier delays
Events outside of reasonable control
12. Agreement Acceptance
By signing below or electronically accepting this Agreement, Client confirms that they:
Have read and understood these terms
Agree to the design process and payment requirements
Understand that custom work requires Client approval and communication
Accept responsibility for reviewing all provided information before approval
